We love our motorhome and hope you will too. So we ask you treat it as we do, with great care. It is a quality made unit, but it is vintage. Handle with care please. Any damage will be taken out of the security deposit. Also, leave it as clean (or cleaner) than when delivered. No pets, no smoking/vaping, no illegal activity. Just have some good, clean fun in the great outdoors! The only trouble you can really get in with the MaxiVan is the awning, so here are the steps to put it away. Storms come in hot and heavy in the summer months and the winds on the leading edge of the storms can wreck an awning. If you get frazzled, ask a neighbor to help. They’re all about the same. 1) Lower the lower arm supports using the black levers on each lower arm 2) Loosen black knobs on both upper support arms 3) Unclip upper arm from each end of the lower track by pressing release clip and sliding upper arms down towards RV. 4) Find strap extension road, center strap, and have someone hold the strap/rod combo 5) Flip release “switch” at front end of awning 6) Pull centered strap to release awing while HOLDING strap, use hands to let awning roll back up until you can’t reach, then put end of rod in end of strap and SLOWLY let awning roll up against RV. Don’t let it fly. 7) Latch grey clips on each support arm that is now against the side of the RV. All of the parts are numbered by their respective position on the awning. To deploy awning after a storm reverse process.
